Hauver’s Holzapfel Jumbo 12 String Guitar is based on the design of Carl C. Holzapfel built in Baltimore, Maryland between 1898 – 1905. It is ladder braced combined with two tone bars which contribute to its distinctive sound. Its unique features include a zero fret at the nut, the two tone bars and a six pin bridge for holding twelve strings. These features set it apart from other guitars of its time.
